AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to GB (General Business), a certain 8.5 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE #3230, March 4, 2002

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District GB a tract of land described as follows:

Description:  A 8.5 ± acres of land generally located at the southeast corner of Missouri 7 Highway and Missouri 150 Highway and specifically described as:

 

A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 47 North, Range 30 West in Jackson County, Missouri described as commencing at the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence southerly, along the west line of said Quarter Section, 50 feet; thence easterly & parallel with the north line of said Quarter Section, 50 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing easterly, along the existing south right of way line of M-150 Highway, 610 feet; thence southerly & parallel with the west line of said Quarter Section, 610 feet; thence westerly & parallel with the north line of said Quarter Section, 610 feet to the existing east right of way  line of M-7 Highway; thence northerly along said east right of way line, 610 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 8.55 acres, more or less, all being subject to restrictions and easements recorded thereon.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Amir Pambechy  (RZ-2002-260), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 8 to 1 for approval of this application in a public hearing on February 21, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
