Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14356, dated October 28, 2002, the Legislature did authorize addenda to the contracts with certain municipalities within the County, to provide funds for t-shirts for the municipalities participating in the DARE program; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution 14356 mistakenly allocated $1,658.37 to the City of Raytown, which does not participate in this program, instead of to the Sheriff's Department as was the COMBAT Commission's recommendation; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that that portion of Resolution 14356 which allocated funds to the City of Raytown be rescinded, and that the sum previously allocated to Raytown be transferred to the Sheriff's Department; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2002 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
