Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15466, dated April 18, 2005, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute an Interlocal Agreement as a component of an application for a Justice Assistance Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice; and,
WHEREAS, Section 6 of the Interlocal Agreement authorizes funding for the Jackson County Drug Court; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to fund the salaries of the drug court employees pursuant to the Interlocal Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
