Body
WHEREAS, Section 530. of the Jackson County Code, 1984, requires the County Executive to submit the recommended budget for fiscal year 2006 by November 15, 2005; and,
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has advised that additional time would be beneficial in making adjustments necessary to balance the budget; and,
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has requested the date for submission of the recommended budget be extended to November 21, 2005; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the time by which the County Executive shall submit the recommended budget for fiscal year 2006 to the Legislature be and hereby is extended until November 21, 2005.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
