Body
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has a need for two pick-up trucks for departmental operations; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1040.04 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the purchase of two (2) 2005 Ford F-150 Pick-up Trucks from Shawnee Mission Ford of Shawnee, KS, for the Public Works Department under an existing government contract at a total cost not to exceed$36,495.00; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1064. of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award be made under the following contract:

Shawnee, KS Bid issued for vehicles for the 2005 model year by the City of Overland Park, KS
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the purchase be made of two (2) 2005 Ford F-150 Pick-up Trucks from Shawnee Mission Ford of Shawnee, KS, for the Public Works Department in the amount of $36,495.00, as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
