Intro ORDINANCE 2820, July 14, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: Legal Description: Description: A 51 ñ acres generally located « of a mile east of Cook Road on the north side of Major Road and specifically described as: A tract of land being in the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 48, Range 30, (SE 1/4, NW 1/4, NE 1/4, NW 1/4, SEC. 16-48-30), all in Jackson County, Missouri being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 16; thence along the South line of said Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter, North 88 degrees, 27 minutes 68 seconds West, 464.00 feet to the Point of Beginning of this tract; thence continuing along the South line of said Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter, North 68 degrees 27 minutes 58 seconds West, 198.63 feet to a point being the Southeast Corner of Doc. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Currigan Lake," creating a 14-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Smith's LLC (RZ-98-109), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on June 18, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
