IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION congratulating Blue Springs High School's 1999 baseball team on winning the Missouri class 4A state championship. Intro RESOLUTION #12765, June 14, 1999 INTRODUCED BY Terry Young, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, under the outstanding coaching of Brad Mayfield and his assistant coaches, the Blue Springs High School 1999 baseball team, the Wildcats, won the state Class 4A baseball championship in Columbia, Missouri; and, WHEREAS, the Wildcats achieved their victory by winning over Parkway South of St. Louis 13-6; and, WHEREAS, the Wildcats set an all-class state record with three home runs; and, WHEREAS, the members of the 1999 baseball team include: Andy Mayfield junior shortstop Josh Ludwig junior 3rd baseman/shortstop Joe Kinder senior 1st baseman/outfield Joe Pickett senior pitcher/outfield Jeremy Kraft senior catcher Jeff Dougherty junior 2nd baseman Rusty Meyer senior catcher James Lighthill senior 2nd/3rd baseman Brent Cramer senior 3rd/1st baseman Jon Mason senior pitcher/infield Dan Bane senior outfield Chris Fink sophomore pitcher/outfield Rick Wilson senior pitcher/outfield Jeremiah Cipollone junior outfield Scott Hendrickson senior outfield/pitcher John Urick junior pitcher/1st baseman Brandan Burdick junior catcher/1st baseman and, WHEREAS, the Wildcats are to be commended for attaining the status of Number One in their class in the State of Missouri, and for their diligent work in reaching this distinction; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Blue Springs High School's 1999 baseball team, the Wildcats, and its coaching staff, on winning the Missouri Class 4A baseball state championship and for an outstanding baseball season. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
