Body
WHEREAS, COMBAT recognizes the need for connecting mothers and sons with much- needed resources to strengthen their family units, which is an integral part of the prevention and treatment of substance and drug abuse; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney recommends an Agreement with Michele Lahr, a copy of which is attached hereto, for program development services in connection with the Mother's Guide to Raising Sons program, at a cost to the County not to exceed $4,950.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement with Michele Lahr for program development services in connection with the Mother's Guide to Raising Sons program, at a cost to the County not to exceed $4,950.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
