Body
WHEREAS, the COMBAT Commission has recommended funding for Resource Development Institute ("RDI") for the facilitation of a COMBAT Commission planning session to be held on September 11, 2007, at a cost to the County not to exceed $1,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, the primary purpose of this event is to address issues identified by the COMBAT Commission including a review of its mission statement and goals, regulations, funding formulas, treatment evaluation, and needs assessment; and,
WHEREAS, RDI will prepare a written summary of the session to include a mission statement, elements necessary to improve Commission/County regulation, and goals relating to evidence-based programming; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County a Cooperative Agreement with Resource Development Institute of Kansas City, Missouri, at a cost to the County not to exceed $1,500.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
