Body
WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the O'Donnell Road Bridge Project No. 2403, to relocate power lines owned by Missouri Public Service, a division of UtiliCorp United, Inc; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Missouri Public Service propose to enter into a Utility Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, whereby the County shall contribute the sum of $7,257.00 toward this relocation; and,
WHEREAS, the execution of this agreement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the attached Utility Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
