Body
WHEREAS, the Public Works Environmental Health Division has a need for internet provider services to host an online food handler training program; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Request for Proposal No. 23-10 for the furnishing of internet provider services to host an online food handler training program for the Public Works Environmental Health Division to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming twenty-four (24) month period, with one twenty-four (24) month extension option; and,
WHEREAS, a total of five (5) notifications were distributed and two responses received as follows:
BIDDER
State Food Safety Course Fee $25.00
Orem, UT Return to County $15.00
National Restaurant Association Course Fee $20.00
Chicago, IL Return to County $10.00
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be awarded to State Food Safety of Orem, UT, as the best overall bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award and any extension.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
