Body
WHEREAS, the KC Select Scream Elite under-10 girls soccer team recently traveled to San Antonio, Texas, to compete in a national soccer tournament where they engaged in intense competition, defeated all of their opponents, and captured the championship; and,
WHEREAS, the team achieved their notable success under the coaching leadership of Rob Bomar and Donnie Edwards and participated in additional strength training provided by Elite Coaching at the MVP Sports Complex in Greenwood, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, members of the soccer team include Hannah Bomar of Lake Lotawana, Baylie Edwards, Taylor Walker, and Chelsea Woods of Lee's Summit, and Hadyn Hutchison of Belton; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates the KC Select Scream Elite under-10 girls soccer team upon earning the 3V3 Live National Championship and wishes them continued success.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
