Body
WHEREAS, the City of Independence, Missouri, has requested payment of $50,873.00 from its County Urban Road System (CURS) reimbursement account to cover costs of the City's environmental documentation for the Little Blue Expressway project; and,
WHEREAS, this project is one of the City's CURS priorities, as approved by the Legislature via Resolution 11590, dated February 3, 1997; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $50,873.00 to the City of Independence for payment of the costs of the City's environmental documentation for the Little Blue Expressway project.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
