Intro ORDINANCE 2846, September 8, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: Legal Description: Description: A 55.8 ñ ACRE TRACT OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED 1/4 OF A MILE WEST OF MILTON THOMPSON ROAD ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LANGSFORD ROAD LYING IN THE EAST « OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 47, RANGE 31, IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SE CORNER OF SAID NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2; THENCE N 89 17'42"W 1095.55 FEET, ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2; THENCE N 01 03'25"E 770.00 FEET; THENCE N 89 17'42"W 221.00 FEET, TO A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID EAST « OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2; THENCE N 01 03'25"E 1200.00 FEET, ALONG THE SAID WEST LINE OF THE EAST « OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2; THENCE S 89 33'56"E 1319.48 FEET, TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF SAID NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2; THENCE S 01 08'25"W 1976.25 FEET, ALONG SAID EAST LINE OF NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; CONTAINING 55.793 ACRES; EXCEPT THAT PART IN LANGSFORD ROAD. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Villa Capri," creating a 14-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Kreisel-Bowling Construction (RZ-98-118), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 20, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
