Body
WHEREAS, Section 530. of the Jackson County Code, 1984, establishes the date by which the County Executive is to submit the recommended budget to the Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has requested the date for submission of his recommended budget for fiscal year 2011 be extended to December 13, 2010, since the County Legislature is not required to act on the 2011 budget until January 31, 2011; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the time by which the County Executive shall submit the recommended budget for fiscal year 2011 to the Legislature be and hereby is extended until December 13, 2011.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
