BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

The 20 ± acres are located at the southeast corner of Colbern Road and Corn Road and more specifically described as:
All that part of the Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼, Section 26, Township 48 North, Range 30 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri. BEING more PARTICULARLY described as follows: COMMENCING at the East ¼ corner of aforesaid Section 26-48-30; thence with the East line of the Northeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼, Section 26-48-30 S01̊53'38"W, 1322.82' to the Northeast corner of the Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼ of said section; thence with the North line thereof N88̊03'21"W, 559.60' to the POINT of BEGINNING; thence continuing with said North line N88̊03'21"W, 751.86' to the Northwest corner of the Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼, of said Section 26-48-30; thence with the West line thereof S01̊53'04"W, 574.88'; thence leaving said West line S87̊58'54"E, 751.85'; thence N01̊53'04"E, 575.85' back to the POINT of BEGINNING and All that part of the Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼, Section 26, Township 48 North, Range 30 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri: BEING more PARTICULARLY described as follows, COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of the Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼ of said Section 26-48-30; thence with the West line thereof N01̊53'04"E, 60.00' to the POINT of BEGINNING; thence leaving said POINT of BEGINNING and continuing with said West line N01̊53'04"E, 683.75'; thence leaving the West line of said Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼ of Section 26-48-30 S87̊58'54"E, 632.65'; thence S01̊53'04"W, 683.75'; thence N87̊58'54"W, 632.65' back to the POINT of BEGINNING aka 9725 S. Corn Road.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Jasmine Investments, Inc. (RZ-2006-388), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on January 19, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
