Body
WHEREAS, the County owns a vacant lot legally described as Tract 11, Lot A, Block 8 of the Ruskin Heights subdivision in Kansas City, MO, with the address of 6908 Longview Road, that was previously used as a sewage pumping station; and,
 
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, MO, has requested the conveyance of the above-described property to the City for 113 square feet of right-of-way and 900 square feet of temporary construction easement for the Longview Road - Phase II project; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends the conveyance of said County property in favor of the City of Kansas City, MO; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Special Warranty Deed and the attached Temporary construction Easement, and any other related documents necessary to convey the above-described property to City of Kansas City, MO, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor.

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
