INTRODUCED BY Bob Spence, County Legislator

Body

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written proposals under Request for Proposal No. 29-09 for the furnishing of utility consultant services for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, a total of eleven (11) solicitations were distributed, and three (3) responses were received as follows:

Utilities Analyses Inc., Duluth, GA                  1

Cost Control Associates, Queensbury, NY            2

NUS Consulting, Park Ridge, NJ                        3

and,

WHEREAS, the fee for the utility consultant services will be based upon a percentage of the actual cost recovery and savings identified by consultant; and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the proposals submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Utilities Analyses Inc., of Duluth, GA, as the lowest and best bidder; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and is hereby authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor.

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
