Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 10015, dated November 22, 1993, enter into term and supply contracts with Midwest Typewriter of Kansas City, MO, American Computer of Leawood, KS, Egghead Software of Overland Park, KS, Electronic Supply of Kansas City, MO, Comark/USA Flex of Bloomingdale, IL, Computer Bay of Overland Park, KS, and ProTech Computer of Lenexa, KS, in the amount of $26,000.00 for the furnishing of miscellaneous personal computer hardware and software; and,
WHEREAS, subsequent increases have brought the total amount awarded to $42,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed increase to this contract is necessary as there has been a greater than anticipated demand for the items awarded to Midwest Typewriter, and this increase will not exceed $10,000.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the necess ry documents on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
