Body
WHEREAS, Jackson County and the City of Grandview have an agreement to apply County road and bridge funds that are due to the City of Grandview, Missouri, under the County Urban Road System (CURS) program to road and bridge projects within the City of general County interest and benefit; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Grandview by its Resolution #95-02, dated January 24, 1995, has amended its prioritization of its road and bridge projects by adding Harry S. Truman Drive between East 125th Street and Crystal Avenue making Harry S. Truman Drive the next construction project under the Grandview CURS program; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works concurs with the addition of this new project; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby concurs with the Grandview City Council in the adoption of Harry S. Truman Drive between East 125th Street and Crystal Avenue as a new CURS priority.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
