IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 6.2 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2856, October 5, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a 6.2 ñ acre tract of land generally located « of a mile north of Oakland School Road on the west side of Buckner Tarsney Road, more specifically described as follows: A TRACT OF LAND IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 49, RANGE 30 IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 7, SCHTOD VALLEY ESTATES, A SUBDIVISION IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI; THEN NORTH 1 29'39" EAST (NOTE THIS AND ALL SUBSEQUENT BEARINGS ARE ON THE MISSOURI STATE PLANE GRID SYSTEM) ON THE WEST LINE OF MISSOURI ROUTE BB (COMMONLY KNOWN AS BUCKNER TARSNEY ROAD) 133.10 FEET FOR A TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. THEN NORTH 88 30'21" WEST, 400 FEET; THEN NORTH 1 29'39" EAST, 375.09 FEET; THEN NORTH 36 29'56" WEST, 105.57 FEET; THEN NORTH 1 29'36" EAST, 238.4 FEET; THEN SOUTH 88 26'31" EAST 445 FEET TO A POINT ON THE SAID WEST LINE OF MISSOURI ROUTE BB (COMMONLY KNOWN AS BUCKNER TARSNEY ROAD); THEN SOUTHERLY ON THE SAID WEST LINE OF MISSOURI ROUTE BB, THE FOLLOWING SIX COURSES: SOUTH 1 29'39" WEST, 151.07 FEET; SOUTH 28 03'24" WEST, 111.81 FEET; SOUTH 1 29'39" WEST, 100 FEET; SOUTH 7 57'55" EAST, 304.14 FEET; SOUTH 88 30'21" EAST, 20 FEET; SOUTH 1 29'39" WEST, 45 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Julie Scott (RZ-98-122), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 17, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
