BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: The 10+ acres tract of land generally located « mile west of Gibson Road on the south side of Drinkwater Road legally described as:
That part of the West « of the North 25 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 47, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows; Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, thence South 88 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds West along the North line thereof a distance of 927.73 feet to the true point of beginning, thence South 0 degrees 01 minutes 50 seconds East a distance of 350.00 feet, thence North 88 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East a distance of 264.00 feet to the East line of the West « of the North 25 acres of said quarter quarter section, thence South 0 degrees 01 minutes 50 seconds East along said East line a distance of 476.22 feet to the Southeast corner of said West « of the North 25 acres, thence South 88 degrees 04 minutes 23 seconds West a distance of 663.29 feet to the Southwest corner of said West « of the North 25 acres, thence North 0 degrees 03 minutes 45 seconds West a distance of 826.27 feet to the Northwest corner of said quarter quarter section, thence North 88 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East along the North line of said quarter quarter section a distance of 399.74 feet to the point of beginning. Except that part in Drinkwater Road.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Valerie Haworth (RZ-97-088), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on December 18, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
