IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 17.3 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2937, July 26, 1999 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: A 17.3 ñ acre tract of land generally located in the northeast corner of Koger Road and Hunter Road specifically described: All that part of the South One-Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 51 North, Range 30 West, Jackson County, Missouri being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 31; Thence N03 09'36"E along the East line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 31, a distance of 40.00 feet to the North right-of-way line of Hunter Road. Thence parallel with the south line of said Section 31 and along said North right-of-way line the following courses: Thence N87 39'31"W, a distance of 451.80 feet; Thence N78 44'14"W, a distance of 174.53 feet; Thence N84 56'47"W, a distance of 220.17 feet; Thence N60 59'29"W, a distance of 185.23 feet; Thence S56 01'18"W, a distance of 132.81 feet; Thence N79 31'39"W, a distance of 198.15 feet to a point on the West line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 31; Thence N3 5'27"E along said West line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, a distance of 209.13 feet; Thence N35 49'23"E, a distance of 72.63 feet; Thence N8 43'45"E, a distance of 278.78 feet to a point on the South line of Lot 1, C&S ACRES, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri. Thence S87 38'32"E along said South line of Lot 1, a distance of 147.69 feet to a point of the West line of Lot 3 of said C&S ACRES; Thence S3 9'36"W along said West Line of Lot 3, a distance of 616.43 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 17.27 Acres more or less. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Earl Peters (RZ-99-156), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 15, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
