IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing payment of $137,961.00 to the City of Blue Springs from the Blue Springs CURS account to cover the City's reconstruction of R. D. Mize Road over a two-year period. Intro RESOLUTION # 11717, April 21, 1997 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the City of Blue Springs, Missouri, has requested the use of $137,961.00 from its CURS refund account to cover the City's reconstruction of R. D. Mize Road; and, WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the reconstruction of R. D. Mize Road proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Blue Springs and the citizens of Jackson County; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $137,961.00 to the City of Blue Springs for use in the City's reconstruction of R. D. Mize Road. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
