WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended a Cooperative Agreement ("Agreement") with the National Center for Fathering to continue to provide fathering training classes and one-on-one mentoring sessions to participants in the Jackson County Drug Court, at a cost not to exceed $14,600.00 for the period of October 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, with the National Center for Fathering; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on this Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
