Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15519, dated June 13, 2005, the Legislature did award twelve-month term and supply contracts for the furnishing of mattresses, bedding, and linens for use by the Corrections Department to Bob Barker Co. of Fuquay Varina, NC, ATD-American Co. of Wyncote, PA, and Tabb Textile Co. of Opelika, AL, to provide for departmental needs, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation BB200511; and,
WHEREAS, due to an administrative error, the items awarded by Resolution 15519 to ATD-American Co. and Tabb Textile Co., on which they were the respective low bidders, were inadvertently transposed; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that award to these two vendors be corrected as follows:

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to ATD-American Co. of Wyncote, PA, and Tabb Textile Co. of Opelika, AL, as recommended and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the portion of Resolution 15519, dated June 13, 2005, that awarded contracts to Tabb Textile Co. of Opelika, AL, and ATD-American of Wyncote, PA, be and hereby is rescinded.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
