IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION declaring one 1966 Loraine MC-32-11 crane and one 1982 Clark Michigan wheel loader as surplus, and authorizing their disposal by way of a trade-in, at a reduction in cost to the County. Intro RESOLUTION #12399, October 19, 1998 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has one 1966 Loraine MC-32-11 crane and one 1982 Clark Michigan wheel loader that have become excess property; and, WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared the crane and wheel loader as surplus; and, WHEREAS, by Resolution 12351, dated September 21, 1998, the Legislature authorized the purchase of one wheel loader for use by the Public Works Department from Victor L. Phillips of Kansas City, MO, at the actual cost of $94,308.00; and, WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that the surplus crane and wheel loader be used as trade-ins to Victor L. Phillips per bid specifications, at a total credit to the County of $20,343.00; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Purchasing Director is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus property by way of trade-in to Victor L. Phillips of Kansas City, MO...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
