Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. BB200362 for the furnishing of clean rip-rap rock for use by the Parks and Recreation and Public Works Departments; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Damon Pursell Construction Co. of Liberty, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Damon Pursell Construction Co. of Liberty, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
