Body
WHEREAS, Aquila, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, has submitted a request for permanent easement along a portion of the Blue River Parkway at 139th Street, in the City of Kansas City, MO, to permit the installation of electric and communications lines; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department has reviewed the easement request and has no objection; and,
WHEREAS, the granting of this easement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached easement for electric and communications lines in favor of Aquila, Inc., of Kansas City, MO.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
