AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 6.1 + acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 6.1 ± acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of Gardner Road and  Missouri Route FF (Truman Road) and  more specifically described:

 

A Tract of land being located in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 49 North, Range 29 West, Jackson County, Missouri, being described as follows:  Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northeast 1/4; thence N89°05'38"W along the North Line of said Northeast 1/4, a distance of 929.42 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence S 01°27'41" W, 661.16 feet to the South Line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 18; Thence N 88°56'57"W along said South Line of the Northwest 1/4, Northeast 1/4, Northeast 1/4, a distance of 401.49 feet to the Southwest Corner of said Northwest 1/4, Northeast 1/4, Northeast 1/4; thence N 01°20'37" E along the West Line of said Northwest 1/4, Northeast 1/4, Northeast 1/4, a distance of 660.13 feet to the Northwest Corner of said Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 18; Thence S 89 °05'38"E along said North Line, a distance of 402.86 feet to the Point of Beginning.  Containing 6.10 acres.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of David Browning (RZ-2000-209), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 21, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
