BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Unified Development Code of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 10.45 ± acre tract of land generally located at the northwest corner of Perrin Road and Happy Hollow Road and specifically described as:
A tract of land being in the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of the Northwest (1/4) of Section 21, Township 50, Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Northwest Quarter (1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) thence South 89 Degrees 08 Minutes 17 Seconds West 449.26 Feet along the South Line of said Northwest Quarter (1/4) of Northwest Quarter (1/4) to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Cranberry Acres a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 00 Degrees 13 Minutes 48 Seconds West parallel with the West line of said Northwest Quarter (1/4) of the Northwest (1/4) 230.00 Feet along said Lot 1; thence North 54 Degrees 26 Minutes 06 Seconds West 388.34 Feet, continuing along said Lot 1; thence South 88 Degrees 26 Minutes 12 Seconds West 50.00 Feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1; Thence North 00 Degrees 13 Minutes 48 Seconds West 339.58 Feet to a point on the South line of a 160 feet easement to Kansas City Power and Light (Doc. 900402), Thence South 79 Degrees 45 Minutes 07 Seconds East along said South line 829.89 Feet (Deed reads 831.72 Feet) to a point on the East line of said Northwest Quarter (1/4) of Northwest Quarter (1/4) Being South 00 Degrees 03 Minutes 52 Seconds East 680.31 Feet (Deed reads 680.52 Feet) from the Northeast corner thereof, thence South 00 Degrees 03 Minutes 52 Seconds East 639.68 Feet (Deed reads 642.89 Feet) to the POINT OF BEGINNING aka 3718 Perrin Road.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Kathleen Tucker (RZ-2001-250), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 20, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
