Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 11808, dated June 23, 1998, enter into a contract with Superior-Bowen Asphalt Company of Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $1,342,716.10, for the 1995 Road Surface Rehabilitation Project, No. 2320; and,
WHEREAS, a subsequent change order has adjusted the contract amount to the current authorization of $1,358,351.34; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 2, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust all plan quantities to as-built quantities and encompass a stormwater improvement in the Farview North subdivision, and said change order will result in a decrease of $19.18 in the contract amount; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 2 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the County Executive is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
