Body
WHEREAS, the Personnel Department has conducted and participated in various salary surveys of local municipalities in order to determine whether Jackson County's salaries are in line with those of others as to certain clerical, professional, and management positions; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the salary ranges of these County positions were considerably lower than those surveyed; and,
WHEREAS, based on this survey an adjustment in the existing salary ranges for certain non-merit positions is warranted; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, Schedules I, II, II, IV, V, VI, and VII to chapter 2, Jackson County Code, 1984, be and hereby are amended as follows:
