Body
WHEREAS, the City of Sugar Creek, Missouri, has requested the use of $12,254.00 from its CURS refund account for use on the improvement of certain roads in the City of Sugar Creek; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature found that the maintenance to the City's roads will benefit the citizens of Sugar Creek and the citizens of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to fund the recommended road maintenance activities; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:

Unappropriated Surplus $12,254 Div. of Administration Public Works Dept. County Urban Road System Sugar Creek City Projects $12,254
and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $12,254.00 to t e City of Sugar Creek for use in the City's 1995 road maintenance program.
Attorney Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
