AN ORDINANCE appropriating $10,000.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Grant Fund to enable the acceptance of a grant awarded to the Family Court Division by the National Children's Alliance for the Family Court's Child Protection Center for contractual expenses needed for the program from January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005.

WHEREAS, the Child Protection Center Program administered by the Family Court Division of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri has been awarded a grant in the amount of $10,000.00 from the National Children's Alliance; and,
WHEREAS, by this grant the Child Protection Center Program will continue to serve Jackson County residents from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Grant Fund to cover the Child Protection Center Supplement Grant for the Family Court Division funded by the National Children's Alliance:
