Body
WHEREAS, on May 1, 1992, the County and Longview Horse Park Association entered into a Cooperation and Use Agreement, approved by the Jackson County Legislature by Ordinance 2089, whereunder the parties agreed to cooperate in the planning, development, improvement, operation, and use of an equestrian horse park center in the area of Longview Lake Park; and,
WHEREAS, County and Association mutually desire to enter into an Addendum to said Agreement extending the Agreement for three years, at an additional cost to the County of $10,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Addendum, the funds shall assist in covering the cost of construction of a horse barn on the Longview Horse Park; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is authorized to enter into the attached First Addendum to the May 1, 1992
Cooperation and Use Agreement with Longview Horse Park Association; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Manager of the Division of Finance be, and hereby is, authorized to make all payments required under said Addendum.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
