Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section A. Enacting Clause. Section 9104., Jackson County Code, 1984, is hereby repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as sections 9104., to read as follows:

9104. Compensation

Those members of the Board of Equalization appointed under Subsections 2 and 3 of Section 1 of Article XI, of the Jackson County Charter, who are eligible to receive compensation from Jackson County, shall each receive compensation of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per session [meeting]. The Board shall conduct two hearing sessions during each regular workday, consisting of one morning (A.M.) session and one afternoon (P.M.) session. A member may be compensated for up to two hearing sessions per workday. Members may also be compensated in the amount of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per regularly scheduled Procedural Meeting that the Board conducts monthly.

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon signature by the County Executive.
