AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RE (Residential Estates), a certain 6.4 ± acre tract.

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estate) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

The 6.4 ± acre lot is generally located at the northeast corner of Truman Road (MO Route FF) and Perry Road and specifically described as:

Lot 2, Hutchison Acres, soon to be Hutchison Acres Replat, a subdivision lying in the southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 49, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri aka 33706 Truman Road.

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John and Connie Hutchison (RZ-2004-339), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 1 to recommended this application in a public hearing on May 20, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
