BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 23.3 ± acre tract of land generally west of Milton Thompson Road, north of Langsford, specifically at the north end of Wildflower Drive and specifically described as:
A TRACT OF LAND IN THE EAST ½ OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 47, RANGE 31, IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 2; THENCE S 02°34'31"W, ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID NORTHEAST 1/4, 765.50 FEET TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF "WILDFLOWER", A SUBDIVISION IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, THENCE N 88°05'34"W ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID "WILDFLOWER"1320.33 FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID "WILDFLOWER" POINT ALSO IS ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID EAST ½ THENCE N 02°24'53"E ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID EAST ½ 769.58 FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID EAST ½; THENCE S 87°54'53"E ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID NORTHEAST 1/4 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; CONTAINING 23.2824 ACRES.
Section 2. The preliminary plat "Wildflower 2nd Plat," creating six residential lots, is hereby approved.
Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Randy Gish (RZ-2002-264), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 16, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
