AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 7.8 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3105, December 4, 2000

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

A 7.8 ± acre tract of land generally located 2/10 of a mile west of  Corn Cemetery Road on the south side of Round Prairie Road and specifically described:

 

The West 330.1 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 , Section 20, Township 48, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri, except that portion of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 20, Township 48 North, Range 29 West of the 5th P.M., Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:

 

Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 20; Thence South  88°15'22" East, 70.00 feet along the North line of said Northwest Quarter, Northeast Quarter: Thence South 01°39'49" West, 1303.88 feet parallel with the West line of said Northwest quarter, Northeast Quarter to the  South line of said Northwest Quarter, Northeast Quarter; Thence North 88°13'24" West, 70.00 feet to the Southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter, Northeast Quarter; Thence North 01°39'48" East, 1303.84 feet (platted 1308.70 feet) along said West line to the Point of Beginning, aka 38007 E. Round Prairie Road.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Bob Stevens (RZ-2000-216), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on November 16, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
