RESOLUTION NO. 22380, August 24, 2026

 

INTRODUCED BY DaRon McGee, County Legislator

 

 

Body

 WHEREAS, the Jackson County Public Works Department uses the Famis 360 software platform, which is a part of the Accruent family of products, to gather data regarding a facility condition assessment of County Courthouse buildings; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve-month contract with three (3) twelve-month options to extend for the furnishing of these services to Accruent of Austin TX under the terms and conditions of OMNIA Partners Contract No. 210701, an existing competitively bid government contract; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Interim Director recommends award under section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, to allow the County to take advantage of discounts offered to large entities; and,

 

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount with an estimated expenditure of $35,318.70; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made under the existing government contract as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Interim Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
