Body
WHEREAS, the Administration has recommended a Cooperative Agreement ("Agreement") with Hathmore Technologies, LLC ("Hathmore") for the use of the Department of Public Works to provide environmental educational services as part of the County's Green Build program; and,
WHEREAS, under the proposed Agreement, Hathmore will provide educational training, cooperative tours, and the construction of energy and environmental demonstration homes to help inform the public and the regional business community and construction trades in at no cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, the County's use of these services will influence the environmental quality of homes built in Jackson County, Missouri and promote energy cost savings; and,
WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed Agreement is attached hereto and the term for this Agreement is November 1, 2005 to December 31, 2007; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement with Hathmore Technologies, LLC.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
