Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the City of Grain Valley, Missouri, has requested the use of $158,942.96 from its CURS account for road improvements and maintenance within the City of Grain Valley; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the projects proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Grain Valley and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $158,942.96 to the City of Grain Valley.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
