Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation recommends execution of a Facilities Extension Agreement with Aquila, Inc., for relocating existing overhead electric service and establishing underground electrical service at the Fort Osage Education Center, at a cost to the County not to exceed $27,561.00. ; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Facilities Extension Agreement provides a satisfactory mechanism by which to accomplish this purpose; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature authorize the County Executive to execute the attached Facilities Extension Agreement with Aquila, Inc; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
