IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing total payment of $160.00 to certain property owners for the acquisition of a permanent drainage easement in settlement of a claim for damages in connection with the Grassy Ridge Culvert Replacement, Tract No. 1, Project No. 2351. Intro RESOLUTION #11616, February 18, 1997 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Grassy Ridge Culvert Replacement, Tract No. 1, Project No. 2351, to acquire a permanent drainage easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of certain property owners, Wesley A. and Naomi Struewe, in the amount of $160.00, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instrument, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and, WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said permanent drainage easement, and to settle the claim for damages and have executed this conveyance in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $160.00; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $160.00 in the names of Wesley A. and Naomi Struewe, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
