BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. A conditional use permit for twenty years to operate a horse boarding facility, subject to restrictions specified on the attached Request for Legislative Action, under the Unified Development Code, is hereby approved as to a certain tract of land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION: A 17.5 ñ acre tract of land generally located 1/10 of a mile north of Blue Mills Road on the east side of Buckner Tarsney Road and more specifically described as:
A tract of land lying in the Southeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 50, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 3; thence along the East line of said Quarter Section, due South, 1449.70 feet the point of beginning of this tract; thence continuing along the East line of said Quarter Section, due South, 529.00 feet; thence due West, 1198.92 feet to a point on the Easterly right of way line of Sibley Road, as now established (30 feet from the centerline thereof), thence along the said Easterly right of way line (30 feet from the centerline thereof), North 07 degrees 46 minutes 57 seconds West, 533.92 feet, thence leaving said Easterly right of way; due East, 1271.22 feet to the point of beginning of this tract, except any part in roads; and Commencing at the northeast corner of the said southeast quarter; then along the east line of said quarter section, due south 1978.85 feet for a true point of beginning; then continuing along said east line, due south 271.92 feet; then due west, 402 feet; then north 0 08'43" east, 271.92 feet; then due east 401.31 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Raymond and Janis Tompkins, (CU-98-041), requesting approval embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on December 17, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
