A RESOLUTION congratulating Walter and Charlotte Johnson on the occasion of their seventieth wedding anniversary.

Body
WHEREAS, Walter Johnson and Charlotte Campbell were both graduates of Oak Grove High School; and,
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1926, Walter and Charlotte married in a ceremony performed by the Reverend J. A. Williams, at the home of the bride's grandmother, Emma Campbell; and,
WHEREAS, Walter and Charlotte established their home in Oak Grove where they raised four children, Lois Allen Johnson-Morrison, Walter Douglas Johnson, and the late William Dennis Johnson and Gerald Laun Johnson; and,
WHEREAS, Walter and Charlotte have been additionally blessed by 10 wonderful grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and,
WHEREAS, Walter and Charlotte celebrated their seventieth wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Walter and Charlotte Johnson on the occasion of their seventieth wedding anniversary, and wishes them many more happy years together.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
