BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 10.2 ± acre tract of land generally located 1/4 of a mile north of Doris Neer Road on the east side of Missouri Highway H and specifically described as:
All that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, and the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 50, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri, and being more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 50, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri, said point being North 01 degrees 46 minutes 31 seconds East (this bearing and all following bearings being referenced to the West line of the Southeast Quarter having a bearing of North 01 degrees 46 minutes 31 seconds East), 1150.01 feet from the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said section 32; thence continue North 01 degrees 46 minutes 31 seconds East along the West line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 500.00 feet to a point, said point being the Southwest corner of Lot 2, Hoppy's Acres a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence South 88 degree 13 minutes 29 seconds East 890.00 feet; thence South 01 degrees 46 minutes 31 seconds West along a line parallel with the West line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 500.00 feet; thence North 88 degrees 13 minutes 29 seconds West 890.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Orville and Robin Hoppenstedt (RZ-2003-289), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on February 20, 2003, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
