WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 70-97 for a chain link fence for the animal enclosure at Fleming Park; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only three bids thereon, bids from the following:

Cyclone Fence Company $11,802.00
Grandview, MO
Broski Fence Company $11,992.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Mann Fence Company, Inc. $12,020.00
Olathe, KS
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Cyclone Fence Company of Grandview, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
