INTRODUCED BY Ed Growney, County Legislator
Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety provides funding for the Prosecuting Attorney's DART (Drug Abatement Response Team) program; and,
WHEREAS, this program provides assistance to the DART team in its efforts to close down drug houses; and,
WHEREAS, the total federal share of the grant is $300,950.74, with a local match of $75,237.69; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached grant application, incorporated herein by reference.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
